About Me

“Hi! I’m Chef Chel, a personal chef and entrepreneur based in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m on a mission to make everyday meals exciting, flavorful, and stress-free. I love taking bold, vibrant flavors and turning them into dishes that feel both gourmet and approachable-whether it’s a weeknight dinner, a special celebration, or a healthy, macro-friendly meal.
I was born in Manhattan, New York City, and raised in Edgewater Park, New Jersey. My love for food started early-right in my family’s kitchen. I grew up helping my mother and grandmother prepare holiday meals, which is where my passion for cooking truly began.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, and later refined my craft in France through Alain Ducasse Education. There, I trained under Michelin-starred chefs and specialized in farm-to-table cuisine-an experience that continues to influence the way I cook today.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across many areas of the culinary world, from country clubs and vegan bakeries to food marketing and catering. These experiences helped shape my perspective and allowed me to develop my own style. In 2022, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and launched my personal chef business, which I currently run-creating custom, seasonally inspired menus for high-profile clients.

We start with a conversation through a detailed preference questionnaire. You'll share what you love, what you don't, along with any dietary needs and allergies. This allows me to plan menus that truly fit your lifestyle.

Custom Weekly Planning

Each week, I create a personalized menu based on your preferences and our agreed-upon schedule. There are no set dishes-everything is thoughtfully planned, creative, and tailored to how you like to eat.

Your Week of Meals

Meals are prepared with flexibility in mind. A standard week includes two appetizers and four entrées, each featuring a protein, vegetable, and starch, adjusted to your portion needs. Breakfasts, snacks, desserts, and additional items can be added at any time.

Yes. All menus are fully customized. I don’t work from fixed menus—instead, I design meals based on your dietary needs, allergies, likes and dislikes, schedule, and goals. This ensures every client gets a truly personal experience.

We start with a consultation and preference sheet to understand your needs. From there, I create a custom weekly menu and ensure your kitchen is properly set up for service, including storage and equipment needs. Once the menu and service dates are approved, I arrive according to our scheduled service, with all logistics coordinated in advance for a smooth experience.
